the fact that spoiler culture has spiraled to the point of ppl defending physical assault for someone spoiling a movie is pretty alarming and a really good sign that ppl need to get some perspective on shit

bee and puppycat is such a weird fucking show. not senseless or absurd just. really strange. and really good.

LIKE. immediately from the first episode it’s established that bee is struggling hard with her new life as an adult as she’s in her early 20s, and that no one can really take her seriously though they like her. she acts carefree, but deep down she’s anxious. she can’t find a job that she’s capable of, which is why she resorts to the magical temp jobs, and that’s where the symbolism of this show comes in. the temp bot is a representation of bee’s emotional state, it gets gradually more distant and morose as bee learns more about herself and sees her situation more clearly, because the temp jobs are an easy distraction that keeps bee from growing as a person. a fantasy. in the last episode of season 1, where bee is in her best state, the temp bot is terrifying and glitching out and nearly kills deckard (my guess is because deckard’s the source of her self-realization). deckard is in love with bee, but he doesn’t really respect her as an adult. in cass’ words: “you’re avoiding your future as an excuse to mother her”. he really doesn’t want to hurt bee’s feelings, but that’s exactly what he ends up doing when bee finds out the truth. and of course, there’s the reveal at the end with bee secretly being a robot, or at the very least a cyborg. she knew that already, but she hid it from everyone else. she’s embarrassed about it. this is most likely a metaphor for feeling incomplete or artificial, since bee is definitely insecure about her identity and future.

but it’s also a show with a magical prince in the form of a cat/dog voiced by oliver the vocaloid that says shit like this:
